Ill be uploading a few nice images later this evening. Untill then
I spent an hour or so in Piccadilly Circus and the surrounding streets last night. The rain was very slight, the air had a chill, but that didnt stop me from shooting a few nice VR 360 shots.

Shot up to Chicksand freeride mountain bike trails near Woburn, England. A handfull of people there including Les and John Cobb.
Had ideas for a 360 vr with multi shots of the rider going through the photo. This is a first. Not too bad. Needs work but getting there. Tumblr is a new facebook, twitter blog thing. Ive created an account to blog on it too.

Well you will need a good camera and fab lens. To enable me to shoot a 12 photo 360 I use a full frame digital SLR and a very wide angle lens. I have a Canon 5D and a Sigma 12 to 24mm lens ----------------- HDR photography is not new. Its been around for a number of years, in fact the famous american photographer Ansel Adams used a similar technique way back when. He used a zonal exposure system which enable a camera to produce a full tonal range from the darkest blacks to the brightest whites. This can be reproduced today by taking at least 3 shots of the same image, one dark, one medium and one light. The three are then overloaded to produce one image. Thats HDR in a nutshell. It takes a long time to do but worth the result. Here is a great example of three combine photos http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:BrnoSunsetHDRExampleByIgor.jpg Images coming soon of a recent shoot in SOHO and central London. The streets were buzzing with people. The sounds and lights of London attract people from all over the world. They never leave disappointed. These images are just super.
Uploading ASAP What an amazing image. Shot at 230 am, here is the Emirates Stadium at its finest. Take a tour here and enjoy.
The VR I posted yesterday has been revamped into an old black and white shot. Looks kinda nice and reminds me of this part of London in the 1960s.
A great morning in London with lots of sun and then rain followed by real cold temperatures. I managed to take a couple of shots in the local forest. Hopefully Ill upload a VR shot tomorrow.
In the meantime here is a still from the VR thats coming. It is full HDR and colour corrected. |
